I measure a 36G, so I feel your pain (literally, sometimes). My go-to brand is Le Mystere and my go-to bra is their Dream Tisha.
Lucky for me, they make a pretty fantastic strapless version as well!

I will recommend, though, being fitted at a higher-end lingerie boutique, as I wear a 38F in most Le Mystere, which the super knowledgeable girls at Allure tipped me off to. Besides getting a MUCH more accurate fit than the know-nothings in black over at VS (seriously, they had me in everything from a 36D to a 42C over there and I just knew it wasn’t right), the salesgirls have the in on how different brands and fabrics wear. (For instance, lace stretches, so be sure to buy a snugger band size; also, bras should fit on the largest clasp because all bras stretch over time, FYI.)
