So I have pretty good hair.

Good, as in, even though I know it’s naturally flat at the roots and crazy wavy/curly and more than a little damaged (flat iron-curling = ouchie!), I know how to style it so that nobody else knows and I get compliments on it.

That said, I have hair that needs to be “done” in order to look nice, and that necessitates heat styling. So it doesn’t feel as nice as it looks. And even though it’s pretty shiny, it’s not all bouncy and swingy like those girls who have really Good Hair.

Until now. You guys, this stuff is magic.

I picked it up on a buy one, get one deal at Walgreens while I was waiting thirty minutes for a prescription that was supposed to take ten minutes to fill (I swear, they do that on purpose to encourage impulse boredom purchasing), and I’m hooked.

Being a Stay at Home Mom allows me to wash my hair, put in a nice leave-in conditioner or Moroccan oil and then leave it wrapped in a towel pretty much all day, until I have a chance to blow the remaining moisture out. I do just that, with this in, and my hair is so soft, even while still damp, even while blowdrying. (I’m not sure if the results would be as awesome going directly from shower to styling, but I’m guessing it wouldn’t be too far off.)

Yesterday, I flat ironed afterward and then quickly wrapped the sections around a round brush to let them cool. I ended up with fantastical, perfect/imperfect model hair. Swingy, bouncy, healthy looking (and feeling!). No other products necessary. None needed.

I’m hooked.
